 MarLewTown
consist of four very unique individuals all born in Mississippi and
raised in Florida. Mello T. age 22, Silva C. age 21, Woosie Kat age
18 are siblings and their god brother Morali-D age 14. The three
siblings have been singing and rapping nearly all their lives due to
the strong musical history within their family roots. The two
brothers Mello T. and Silva C. took the gift of music more serious
in 1997 after listening to friends and family tell them how great
they sound. The boys always knew their sister Woosie Kat could sing
but fail to realize how good she could rap. One day their mother
told them to take time to listen to Woosie rap before someone else
discover her and the two of them will be sitting in the front row of
her concert and not the other way around. Of course you know the
boys could not have that happen so they listen and to their
amazement they loved what they heard. In 2003, in order to keep
Morali-D entertained and out of trouble, the boys begin to coach him
on rapping and music, the rest is history. The name MarLewTown comes
from part of the last names of the members and represent unity
within the group. The group is looking forward to the return of
another original member, Ms. Pookie age 21 who is the cousin of the
siblings. As we all know a town gains and loses citizens, but all in
all the town focus on enriching the lives of its people. MarLewTown
is looking forward to advancing all fans to citizenship status
through the power of musical harmony. MarLewTown want their fans to
know they understand the need to succeed, which is embedded in all
of us, especially coming from dirt poor and always reaching for
those open doors that life has to offer. So come on and join us,
